Pour Into Her is a nonprofit that offers hope and practical assistance to women in at-risk communities. Our mission is to foster stability and empower women to achieve long-term self-sufficiency, enabling them to thrive and regain fulfilling, productive lives.
We envision creating a nurturing environment for each woman to live in a healthy, supportive environment that provides spiritual, emotional, and physical support with guidance and personal accountability
Goal (5 PIH Principles):
It is to build healed women who will duplicate and give back to their former at-risk, homeless, and community peers by
1. Up -Root - Conduct a comprehensive root cause analysis to identify the underlying factors contributing to women's vulnerabilities, such as trauma, systemic discrimination, or lack of access to resources.
- Collaborate with community stakeholders, including social workers, counselors, ad law enforement, to address the intreconnected issues affecting women's well-being.
- Implement evidence- based interventions and strategies aimed at disrupting harmful patterns and creating sustainable solution for positve change.
2. Educate:
- Provide comprehensive education on various aspects related to women's well - being, including mental heath, financial literacy, job skills, and healthy relationships.
- Offer workshops, seminars and online resources tailored to the specific needs and challenges faced by at-risk, homeless, and marginalized women.
- Collaborate with local educational institutions and experts to ensure the content is relevant, up-to-date, and culturally sensitive.
3. Redirect/Change :
- Facilitate opportunities for women to break free from negative cycles by offering alternative paths and support networks.
- Develop personalized action plans to help women transition out of homelessness, address substance abuse issues, or escape abusive situations.
- Advocate for systemic changes at the community and policy levels to address the root causes of women's vulnerabilities, such as affordable housing, access to healthcare, and gender equality initiatives.
4. Empower:
- Foster a sense of self-worth and agency among women through mentorship programs, peer support groups, and leadership development initiatives.
- Provide access to resources and tools that enable women to make informed decisions about their lives and take control of their futures
- Celebrate the achievement and successes of women who have overcome adversity, serving as inspiration and role modes for others in similar circumstances
5. Heal:
- Heal women through preventative strategies, practices, and resolution methods
- Offer holistic healing approaches that address the physical, emotional, ad spirtual needs of women, recognizing the interconnectedness of mind, body, and soul.
- Provide access to trauma- informed care, couseling services, and support groups to help women process their experience and regain a sense of wholeness.
